30 May Wilkins Media Wins a 2017 Obie Award for Experiential Advertising
A mountainous accomplishment earns Wilkins Media a 2017 Obie Award for Custom Installation. Wilkins Media installed the tallest ever outdoor climbing wall built in New York City – right in the middle of the chaos of Times Square. The Toyota RAV4 Spectacular Billboard Climb featured a multi-story rock climbing experience, complete with live rock climbers, installed over the steel framing of two stacked billboards.
The creativity and effort did not go unnoticed. The Toyota RAV4 Spectacular Billboard Climb stood out in Times Square, winning the attention of Times Square traffic, as well as industry recognition with a bronze Obie for Custom Installation at the 2017 awards.
