Wilkins Media is proud to be named a 2016 OBIE Award finalist, for our work with both First Niagara and Dress Barn. We are honored and delighted to be part of such an impressive group of finalists!

Our Senior Vice President Dana Burleson recently weighed in on this exciting news. “We were very proud to be involved with this effort.  This was Dressbarn’s first big OOH program and they absolutely nailed every requirement for superlative OOH creative.  It was clean, concise, impactful and meaningful and it stood out among all the surrounding messaging no matter what environment it was placed in.  Congratulations to the team for a stunning campaign.”

The OBIE Awards are one of the oldest and most prestigious honors for creative excellence in advertising. The OBIE name is derived from the ancient Egyptian Obelisk, a tall stone structure that was used to publicize laws and treaties thousands of years ago. Many historians consider the obelisk as the first true form of advertising. In 2015, 615 campaigns were nominated for OBIE consideration with 34 awarded Silver or Gold.
